Why Home Care?

Home Care Aides help persons who are disabled or chronically ill with their non-medical activities of daily living whether within or outside the home.  Home Care Aides assist clients with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, per care plans established by a care coordinator, social worker or other health care counselor.  An ASI Home Care Aide is passionate about their work as a caregiver and has a personal, vested interest in their well being.

Caregiver Match

It is our goal to match every client with a compassionate, knowledgeable, honest and hard working caregiver. The matching process ensures that our clients are provided with a compatible caregiver and is based on:

Procedure for New Clients

1) Phone Consultation & In-Home Visit

Our first step is to set up an in-home assessment. This visit allows us to gather more information, answer questions and let you understand how ASI can support the formulation of a helpful and pleasant in-home care experience.

3) Caregiver Match

Our matching process takes into account many factors - personalities, personal preferences, primary language, skill requirements, or certifications. We want to ensure you or your loved one feel secure with your matched caregiver.

2) Developing Your Personal Care Plan

Following the initial visit, we take multiple factors into consideration including physical, social, cultural, and other household needs, to create a tailored Personalized Care Plan.

4) Supervision

While our caregivers are some of the best trained in the industry. To ensure satisfaction, ASI supervisors make regular announced and unannounced visits to the home to ensure your highest level of satisfaction.

Please Note:

If you are working with ASI through a Medical Waiver Program, your assigned social worker will guide with you through a comparable process to that which is outlined below.  As always, feel free to reach out to ASI directly at 773.278.5130 with any questions.

Want to become a Caregiver but for a family member?
