Cleaning Services for Seniors
ASI’s offers this free city-wide cleaning program targeted to help seniors remain independently living in their own homes. This program makes it easy to get your spring or fall cleaning done in a fast and efficient manner. ASI’s chore worker program is broken into 3 types of services having a short-term, heavy duty, and expansion services which are flexible and tailored to your needs.
Short-Term Chore Service
Helps with client's recovery from illness or surgery until they are able to return to their normal activities. Such tasks include:
Light Housekeeping
*Max of 48 hours of cleaning
Heavy-Duty Chore Service
Reduces instances of a client living in an unsafe environment such as preventing evictions, total clean-out of hoarders apartments. Tasks include:
Paper Organization
Expansion Service
Reduces instances of a client living in an unsafe environment. Tasks include:
Lawncare (every 2 weeks, April-October)
Extermination (Up to $2,000 per senior)
Refrigerator Cleaning
Trash Removal
Washing Floor & Walls
*Max of 60 hours of cleaning
Snow Removal (over 2 inches, under 32 degrees, October-March)

ASI is the only homecare agency offering Short Term Chore and Heavy Duty Chore Services for seniors in Chicago. Our goal is to strengthen the ability of elderly to live independently and safely in their homes. This program is funded by the City of Chicago, Department of Family & Support Services .
