COVID-19 Update: We have an immediate need for preferred caregivers. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Illinois Department on Aging has lessened its requirements. Call us for questions or guidance at 1-800-HOMECARE.
Are you caring for a senior, ill, disabled friend or family member? Illinois has a family caregiver program to support and pay you for taking care of your loved one.
One in four households takes on the role of providing care to older family members of friends.
Whether planned or the result of an unexpected illness, family caregiving is a critical part in providing long term care to older adults and people with disabilities.
Apply for home care services through the Community Care Program and Department of Aging.
Call (312)744-4016 to begin this process.
Once the applicant qualifies for home care services they may request their family caregiver.
