ASI 50th Anniversary
50 Years of Empowerment: Cultivating Health & Growing Stronger Communities

On October 1, 2025, ASI marked its 50th year of service with an intimate cocktail celebration—bringing together partners, advocates, and friends to honor a legacy rooted in care, equity, and opportunity. The evening celebrated our home health, behavioral health, workforce development, and community outreach efforts—and the thousands of Chicagoans whose lives have been strengthened along the way.
Our Story (Then & Now)
Founded in 1975 as an employment and training center, ASI has grown into a trusted, bilingual provider serving immigrants, refugees, and low-income communities across Chicago. Today, our continuum of services spans workforce development and job placement, home care training, specialized healthcare training, home health and behavioral health, transitional and telehealth services, and wraparound resource navigation—meeting people where they are and lifting whole families.
