TRAINING PROGRAM

At ASI, we take special pride in providing quality home care services to our clients.  To protect the quality of care that the ASI name and legacy promises, we provide a mandatory 45-hour training program, free of charge, to all eligible applicants.  Please note that this is beyond the State of Illinois' required 24 hours of training.

Training is available in both English and Spanish to ensure all ASI employees are introduced into the field with the skills required to perform their duties as caregivers.  Additionally, training ensures that all ASI employees know how to actively include clients in the carrying out of their personalized care plan.  As a result, ASI's caregivers are among the best trained in the industry and ASI's training program is a model for home care agencies. This comprehensive pre-employment training is recipient of the Retirement Research Foundation's Encore Award for Excellence.

Professional caregiving allows candidates to develop their innate caregiving skills into a fulfilling and rewarding career of helping others reach and maintain independent, dignified lives.
